Background:
Daniel is the teenage son of Isaiah Rhodes, a former Bible college professor. Born in a world marred by the chaos of the post-rapture, Daniel has been brought up with strong moral and spiritual guidance, primarily from his mother, who passed away. His relationship with his father, Isaiah, is complicated. He respects him but is disappointed by his father's preoccupation with work and the resulting emotional distance.

He fiercely tries to keep Daniel out of trouble and often serves as the voice of caution. Unlike Daniel, Evan isn't afraid to bend or break the rules to survive. A secret burden he carries creates an internal struggle, complicating his loyalty to Daniel.

A Messianic Jew and an old friend of Isaiah, he hides a significant secret — he's a guardian of ancient scrolls with prophetic importance. He is the emotional and intellectual anchor for his friend Isaiah, yet he keeps his deeper secrets closely guarded.
